The Content Marketing Awards 2018: TTE shortlisted for two awards



Awards season is officially in full swing and we are thrilled to announce that we have been chosen as finalists in two categories at the Content Marketing Awards 2018 for our work with Adrian Flux.

Our first nomination is recognition for our Learner Driver Hub project in the Best Finance category. Recognising that acquiring drivers at the learner stage could result in long-term loyal customers, we created a resource to support learner drivers through the process of passing their driving test.

Whilst we initially launched aiming at learner drivers themselves, we analysed that traffic to the site was largely dominated by those of parental age. We capitalised on this opportunity to make the site more conversion-led whilst still acting as a valuable resource. We successfully partnered with UCAS, The Theory Testing App, Caroline’s Driving School and numerous influencers to create content for the hub and use as advertising platforms. We achieved an outstanding bounce rate from email clicks of just 18.9% when we re-launched the hub.

Our second nomination is in recognition for our Forever Cars project in the Best Use of Content within Media Relations category. With insurance being an industry typically lacking in engagement, we strived to make the most out of Adrian Flux’s specialist car areas to create compelling content.

This involved creating a blog focusing on long-term ownership of cars with nostalgia as a running theme, which resonates well with the classic car enthusiast customer base. The success of the blog led to the creation of the Forever Cars printed book which has been circulated around the classic car community, including Silverstone Classic car show, where Adrian Flux were an official partner. The project saw us gain national press placements in the likes of the Daily Mail, Daily Express and The Sun.

We are extremely proud of the industry recognition and nomination, and as always one of the most rewarding things for us is being able to measure excellent results for our client.

The final will take place at The Roundhouse in Camden on 27th November 2018.
