We’re thrilled to have been shortlisted for the European Search Awards for the first time for best use of search in a PR campaign.

Working in conjunction with search marketing agency Further, we delivered the world’s first driverless car insurance policy for our client, specialist insurance broker Adrian Flux.

With more than 200 pieces of branded coverage reaching an estimated 12billion readers, the story tapped into the buzz surrounding autonomous vehicles and was covered in media across the world.

As a result of our campaign, Adrian Flux now sits on a national panel looking into the future of insurance in a driverless world.

The initial PR success, which resulted in sustained search engine ranking benefits for the client, has been supplemented by a continued focus on driverless cars as the autonomous vehicle revolution looms closer.

We’re particularly pleased that we were able to show that this campaign drove improvements in search position and traffic, even on terms with commercial intent that were in no way related to driverless cars, which clearly demonstrates the tangible value that can be delivered through content marketing projects.

The awards will be held in Poland on 27 April 2017.
